Douglas Lwanga Refutes Allegations That He Is Set To Leave NBS TV

Last week, it was reported that newly acquired NBS TV After 5 show presenter Douglas Lwanga was set to leave the station for a Kenyan based Television. In a brief conversation with Chano8 on Phone, Lwanga denies the allegations and wonders the source of such rumours

“ I am NBS Always and focused on my contractual obligations. I have also been reading such news on social media but I am happy and focus” he said

The NBS TV Katch Up show host and at the same time co-hosting the After 5 weekly segment had been a topic to digest online with various debaters showing opportunism if he is destined for the big Job at the Next Media Group after allegedly being approached by Kenyan finest Television houses KTN TV and KISS TV.

Apparently, the soft-spoken eloquent TV presenter who is gearing up for his first maiden Purple Party tour  showdown ever since he crossed borders from NTV Uganda.

Douglas Lwanga is not leaving NBS

The rumours of Douglas exit started after he conspicuously did not host the show for over a week. Several reports started making rounds alleging that he had been sacked in a reshuffle.

However, on Tuesday, February 6, he broke the silence and put rumours to be. He announced his departure from the Serena based media house and clarified that he had not been sacked but had moved on to much bigger opportunities.

Lwanga joined other former NTV presenters who had also crossed the line. He joined the likes of Solomon Serwanja, MC Kats, Anita Fabiola and many others. Before Lwanga joined NBS TV and NTV Uganda, he started as an entertainment presenter on industrial area based TV station Record.
