With a promising future to be Uganda’s biggest social gathering, NTV’s Douglas Lwanga the organiser of the annual end of year Purple Party which excites many and takes Kampala by storm recently revealed and confirmed artistes to spice it up come Sunday the 11th of December at the Kitante-based Uganda Museum in Kampala.
Last Year’s 4th edition was a success at Lido Beach located in Entebbe and this year, the Purple themed party began 2016 with a big bang where Douglas Lwanga decided to take it regional. With tours in Eastern, Western and Northern regions of Uganda respectively.
With only 38 days left to the Sms One , NTV, Sipapa Entertainment,Uber and Club sponsored main Party which comes every December, the following artistes have been shortlisted to perform that day and they are; Dr Jose Chameleone, Big Size Bebe Cool, H.E Bobi Wine, Eddy Kenzo, David Lutalo, Ziza Bafana, Gravity Omutujju, Sheebah Karungi, Rema Namakula and Winnie Nwagi.
“These artistes have confirmed being part of the biggest celebration of the biggest celebration of Ugandan music, the party is for Ug Shs 20,000 adults and 10,000 children. It’s a must attend event so mark your calendars” Douglas Lwanga told Chano8.
The main intention for Purple party was to have the biggest annual celebration of Ugandan music where all artistes and fans could meet and from what we have seen, this has been achieved come 11th December, Uganda Museum is the place to be and Chano8 will be there to bring to the highlights of the event.
