Well, things just keep getting worse and worse for BET Award winner Eddy Kenzo aka Edirisa Musuza following the unfortunate incidence in which he got stuck in Ivory Coast.
This was after Uganda and many other countries suspended international flights for passengers to help curb the spread of COVID-19. Now news reaching us is that, Ugandan singer is terribly sick and admitted in a hospital in Ivory Coast.
He however rubbished rumours that were making rounds on social media that, he had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus on Sunday night.
The ‘Semwokozo’ singer shared a photo of himself on a hospital bed through which he revealed he is not sick of COVID-19 as earlier reported. Kenzo revealed that he had talked with blogger Ashburg Kato earlier on about him being in hospital but it was not because of Corona Virus but rather ulcers which were brought about by the change in diet and the oily foods in the Country Capital Abidjan.
The rumours of Kenzo contracting coronavirus started when Ashburg Kato yesterday went to his Facebook page and reported that the BigTalent Entertainment boss had checked himself into hospital where he tested positive with Corona Virus.
“Nayogedeko ne Kato last evening yabadde ne idea about helping our people with small money via mobile money and I told him it’s a good idea but I couldn’t talk much because I was in hospital and I sent him a picture aleme kulowoza nti mulimba. I also told him that I’m sick but sagala kanga bantu because we have enough problems going on”. Kenzo posted
Just like many other false stories in this era, the news spread like wildfire and got most of the singer’s fans and followers worried. Most of them ran to their various social media platforms to send out messages in support while urging the Uganda Government to help their celebrity.
The singer expressed his disappointment in the blogger who he said had twisted the information claiming that he had tested positive for the virus that has got the whole world paralyzed in a lockdown.
“I’m so disappointed in Ashbag kato. Siganye I’m sick but not corona and I will be fine InshAllah. Nyina bad ulcers ate abantu beno emmele yabwe ebamu buto munji era ne kamulali munji so emmele yeyarese obuzibu.
