Eddy Kenzo Recognised As A Cultural Ambassador By United States Congress

He might be going through hell after his break up with the mother of his 4-year-old daughter, but singer Eddy Kenzo still has something to smile about

Despite the fact the fact that the break up happened when Kenzo is in the USA, the ‘Sitya Loss’ hit maker was recently honored with a special recognition by the United States Congress as a Cultural Ambassador at the West Indian American Day Carnival in Brooklyn, New York.

He attended the function and received the accolade himself without any representatives.

This was the 52nd annual celebrations of the colorful and well-organized event that celebrates the Caribbean community and the event usually attracts more than a million revelers to hear the sounds of Reggae and Calypso music.

This is among the various accolades that Kenzo has collected from the US. He is the first Ugandan and only one so far to win both a BET award in 2015 and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award in 2018
