Club Rouge was a force to reckon with in its glory days but not until it’s demise that we saw the rise of clubs like Amnesia, Play and others. Well, quiet but not forgotten and this time under new management, Club Rouge is returning re-branded and renamed as Space Lounge. The new hangout which is targeting the corporate class will be open all week and with 2 sections namely VIP and VVIP section.
Last Friday, there was a media party where the new management hosted journalists and some invited guests to a treat and also check out the progress so far which looked impressive. The guests enjoyed bites and free drinks as they tested the sound in the new plush club which is set to yet provide more competition for the other established clubs around the area. And by the end of this week, it will be opened to the public in a grande re-opening event.
As most clubs and hangouts do, a strict dress code is to be enforced and no shorts and sandals will be allowed in according to management. Shisha and cigarette smoking which are both enjoyed by most patrons will be restricted to the 2 smoking areas availed and we are to expect high end first class service. Beer will go for 5,000/=, water and sodas at 3,000/= and food will also be available.
The grand opening is slated for this Friday, 23rd September, 2016 and is to feature artistes like Winnie Nwagi and Dj Mercy on the ones and twos. Entrance is 30,000/= and a table will go for 500,000/=.
