It is now two years since singer Irene Ntale terminated her contract with Swangz Avenue record label. With this, it means that her relationship with Winnie Nwagi is limited because she (Nwagi) is still part of the label.
Irene’s ‘Date Night’ concert at Sheraton Hotel was perhaps the last time the two artistes were on the same stage but come the 2nd of June, they will be sharing the same stage once again during the second edition of the annual Tusker Light Kampala Night Run.
The two artistes will also be joined by Hit Nature duo, Pallaso, Grenade and surprise disc spinners in Kampala as headlining for the night event.
After Irene left Swangz, it was all over in the news that she was beefing Nwagi although she later cleared the air saying that Nwagi was forced to let go of her relationship with her. The two are however going to meet after a long period at the night run event
The return of the one-of-its-kind fun night run was officially announced Thursday by event organisers, Brand 7D, at a press conference held at Torino Bar and Restaurant.
Unlike the first edition, the route has been extended from two kilometres to three kilometres with more fun activities and star artiste performances lined up. These are more offerings to make it more memorable.
