Ever since her pictures leaked sometime last year, Desire Luzinda was labeled all kinds of names like porn star, kitone artiste among others and this prompted the State Minister for Ethics and Integrity Rev Fr. Simon Lokodo to start acting within his powers at implementing the anti-pornographic law.
The minister also suggested that all pornographic avenues like Facebook, Twitter, whatsapp and other social media platforms be banned to prevent people from sending them further.
The minister went ahead and apprehended the artiste for questioning but later released her as investigations were being carried out. But yesterday, the minister came out and apologized for his behavior towards Desire during a sensitization workshop on pornography yesterday. “Is there any relative of Desire Luzinda here? I apologize to her. I was so rough on her and I wanted her apprehended,” Fr Lokodo said.
“I asked her why did you do this? But she pleaded her innocence, saying she was not the one who leaked her own nudes but rather her estranged lover.” Fr Lokodo concluded.
