On most occasions when international artistes come to Uganda, one thing that is always on their minds is the concert. They barely pay attention to social scenes happening at that specific time but not Ginuwine.
The ‘Differences’ hit singer who flew into the country last Thursday evening surprised journalists when he paid tribute to the victims of the recently capsized boat at Mutima Island.
Just when everybody thought he would be minding his business, the American singer said that he has been reading news on social media about the tragic incident.
“I read information about the victims of the capsized boat. This was really bad and I pay my respect to them. It was really unfortunate that the young guys and ladies had to die in such a way,” he said.
It seems the RnB musician fell in love with Uganda because he also admitted that he has been seeing some local channels and really enjoyed the music from down here even promising a collabo with Michael Ross.
Ginuwine is in Uganda for the Johnnie Walker Soul jazz safari event that is happening at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Saturday 1st of December,
