Singer Nakie Jullian is comfortable calling herself the vision bearer of the ‘Hymn Experience Uganda’ where different Christian singers and choirs gather to sing hymns. She has been singing hymns for the past 15 years and in 2014 she sat down and thought of how to change the mindset of those who attend gospel concerts.
Something fresh came to her mind and it was the annual ‘Hymn Experience’. Although it had taken two years without happening, it is back, big and bold with the 2020 edition which was launched at a press briefing that was held at Serena Hotel on Tuesday the 2nd of March 2020
“I sat down in 2014 and thought of how to change the mindset of those who attend gospel concerts and thought about something fresh” Nakie said
Slated for ‘Good Friday’ the 10th of April at Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall, Julie promised to blow fans away with a hymn experience that will captivate them as they prepare for Easter
Masrob Events came on board to make her dream of putting up a one of a kind hymn experience come true. Masembe Robinson the CEO Masrob Events said that he willingly accepted to work with Nakie because of his love for hymns and he thinks the revellers will be blessed.
This year they will bring back their choir and different choirs from different churches like Calvary Cross Choir, Golden Gate Choir, All Saints Choir and Jehovah Shalom Acapella to perform for the crowd.
There will be other artistes’ performances from singers Levixone and Easter and Ezekiel.
