Gospel Singer Peace Kyamukongwire Sets Bar High With Sold Out Serena Concert

During the her ‘Turinke Mpuungu Abasabaze’ concert that took place at Club Obligato in May 2018, gospel singer Peace Mbabazi Kyamukongwire said that she was set to take her 2019 concert to Kampala Serena Hotel and some people thought that it was one of her jokes

It however wasn’t a joke because on Sunday the 14th of July, she filled Serena Hotel’s Katonga Hall during her fun filled ‘Nikyenda Okuremeraho’ concert.

Revellers who were a mixture of her fans, well wishers, family and friends began making their way in Katonga Hall as early as 6 PM and at a few minutes to 7 PM, curtain raisers’ performances began in high gear lead by fellow gospel singers like Mary Asiimwe, Musimeta Florence, Ngoma Joseph Simon Mirembe among others

Peace later took to the stage at a few minutes past 7 PM with a warm welcome from the revellers who were excited to watch her perform for them. She performed both her old and new songs off her two albums ‘Ninzakurwana’ and ‘Rukundo Egumeho’ like ‘Nimurungi’, ‘Yesu Weitu Oryowamaani’, ‘Omuntu Womunda’, ‘Yesu Gumananye’, ‘Rukundo Egumeho’ among others

After her first round of her showcase, she had a special time to say thank you to her sponsors SMS ONE, UBC, Movit, Pepsi, Uganda Police, Horeb Company, Electoral Commission, Centenary Bank and National Water and Sewerage Corporation and the representatives from some of these companies had special gifts to give her

Before she came perform her last song ‘Nikyenda Okuremeraho’ in the second round, there was another round of artistes who performed for the crowd and these were Betty Namaganda and her husband Pastor Robert Senyonga, Simon Mirembe, Joy Tendo, Lady Harriet, Pastor Bugembe, Carol Kyambara, sergeant Asiimwe and finally Mary Asiimwe

In her concluding remarks, Peace who is one of the biggest gospel singers from Western Uganda said a special thank you to the revellers who came through and promised to host her fans for next year’s concert in Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall
