“We took a decision as government and we are going to take over the testing of all the incoming passengers and the private laboratories have been charging US Dollars 65 (UGX 250,000)and we have reduced this  per person tested  The fee has been high because we have been using private medical services to do this service. From today, all testing of COVID-19 travelers entering Uganda will be done by government” he revealed

He said that they had to takeover the service because  the ministry of health has invested a lot of money in the fight against Covid-19.
