“I Prefer To Hold Concerts On Independence Day” – Gravity Omutujju

Gravity Omutujju the Luga-Flow artiste has lined up yet another concert for Independence Day. The Money Concert is expected to take place on Sunday the 9th of October where charges are set at 10,000 shillings for ordinary and 20,000 for VIP all at Freedom City Mall.

Last year, the ‘Winner’ singer also held his ‘Omwoto’ concert on the same date and it saw lots of his fans fill up Freedom City Hall.

When we contacted him for a comment on why he prefers holding his concerts on Independence Day, this is what he had to say. “That day being a public holiday, many people don’t work although it is a family day. Students are home. One will spend the whole day with his wife and children and in the evening they will come out to have fun.”

Last year’s concert saw top artistes like Big Size Bebe Cool, David Lutalo and King Saha curtain raise for him and this year it is expected to be same.

“Those who will respect my invitation will come and perform and those who won’t make it will stay. You know you can call upon the big artistes and some will play games but the concert has to still go on.”

Luga Flow artiste Gravity Omutujju is one of the artistes who has taken the art of word play to the next level as he freely flows in Luganda and tunes like ‘Malagajja’, ‘Swagga’ among many others can testify to this.

He has performed at several music shows and through which has built for him a healthy fan base that has seen him release more songs that have become common on the fans play lists.
