Last year the annual Purple Party regional party tour went down successfully with Jinja, Mbarara, Lira and Gulu fans experiencing a feel of this Purple colour themed social event that brings artistes closer to the fans. 2017 the tour is officially back with a big bang and Jinja town is taking the lead again.
Organised by NTV Da Beat’s Douglas Lwanga, Jinja fans brace your selves for yet another awesome event come Saturday the 29th of April at Bax Bar. The party boasts of headlining performers namely Gravity Omutujju, Ykee Benda, Fille, Voltage Music, Prof Big Eye, Dj Shiru, Eddie Wizzy, Leila Kayondo, Icey Kiba, Park U and Kim Nana.

With an aim of making Purple Party Uganda’s biggest social event, the regional tours are intended to create awareness for the main Party that takes place in December.
“Purple party is the biggest show we celebrate as artistes that is why Voltage Music we never miss any and for our Jinja fans thanks for the love let us keep up the vibe. The party rules are just simple. Come clad in purple, pay Ug Shs 10,000 and be a part of fun that will not only be about music performances but also live Dj mixes from Uganda self proclaimed spin doctor Dj Shiru.
