New local artiste Fresh Daddy real names Paul Mutabazi came out to respond to veteran city emcee and TV presenter Edwin Katamba commonly known as MC Kats who recently rubbished his new single ‘Mazike’
While appearing on Spark TV’s ‘Live Wire’ show on Friday night, the 45-year-old new singer told off MC Kats to choose to either play his song or Ignore it.
While asked for his response to MC Kats’ actions of rubbishing his song and ordering the Dj not to play it at Wave Lounge a few days ago, the Mazike singer said
“I can’t start saying anything negative about him because I don’t pick fights with people. Whether he plays the song or not, I don’t mind because I am not here to battle with MCs. I do my own things whether they are successful or not, only God knows” Calm Fresh Daddy said.
His calmness and style of responses inspired the TV presenters that were hosting him. He calculates his words and he let no choice for fans but predict a better music career ahead of him.
MC Kats was caught on video while making harsh statements at an event at Wave Lounge where he was an emcee. He told off the DJs of the night not to play Fresh Daddy’s song because he is not worth any attention in the music industry.
Mc Kats said that giving Fresh Daddy’s music attention is liking dragging the music industry to the gutters. To him, Fresh Daddy is not a singer but something he can’t describe.
It should be also remembered that other singers like Bebe Cool and Eddy Kenzo publicly expressed their dissatisfaction towards Kats’ comments. They endorsed the new singer to continue pursuing the music to better his life.
