“I Do Music With A message To Teach Some One Out There” – A Pass

A Pass does not sing songs which he thinks don’t have meaningful impact but does accompany them with educative messages for example in ‘Tulikubigele’ where he emphasizes the message of hard work even when the situation is difficult. He talks about appreciating walking to work while others drive past, which inspires hard work. In doing this, the ‘Wuuyo’ singer has managed to win a big fan base from lots of people especially the youth who learn from and relate to the meaning A Pass portrays in his songs.

The Dance-hall artiste is one of those new breed of young stars who takes his music career seriously. He is a young, talented and ambitious dance-hall star who is the master mind behind hit songs like ‘Am Loving’, ‘Tetubatya’, ‘Memories’ and ‘Bakwagala Olina’ which is also one of his freshest tunes. He is not only a singer but also a song writer who has written songs for big artistes in  the Ugandan music industry an act that is seeing his career grow step by step.

A Pass

“Am so glad I don’t do music for the people to listen just because they have ears, I do music with a message to teach someone out there”. Said A Pass in a social message he shared yesterday.

It’s safe to say that A Pass is one of those artistes with a promising future, however, reaching the level he is at currently has not been a bed of roses for him. Lots of challenges have come his way just like any other artistes in the industry. When Chano8 contacted A Pass for a comment on what drives him, this is what he had to say; “I would rather quit music, if I don’t do something positive that can help people learn something new”.

The user-friendly Chano8 App is now available for free download on Google play store. Please download and install for a chance to win tickets to upcoming concerts.
