Dance-hall sensation Nutty Neithan, who is best known for his killer hit ‘Bakuwe Kyonywa’ and ‘Follow my rules’ with Mun’G hasn’t been in the industry for long but he has 6 popular songs and 4 collaborations that have put him on the limelight.
He is one of the most popular artists among the teenage listeners. Any person with an ear for good music and club bangers agrees he is climbing the ladders fast enough to be among the cream of Ugandan Ragga artistes especially with the release of his new song.
Nutty Neithan recently talked about his Body to Body song saying the song is about a guy who is trying to reach out to a girl that seems to be out of his league.
‘This is a song about a guy who is trying to reach out to a girl that seems to be out of his league. Meanwhile she is also into it though feeling wrong about it but the body language is actually giving her away. So I try to express myself in this character by reaching out to this girl.’
While talking about the inspiration behind the song, he said,
Inspiration comes from all kinds of places. (Grins) I had already made the beat and the inspiration to voice the song came from my bedroom experiences and I put a concept to it hence the song body to body.
The singer also explained why he switched from Reggae to dancehall,
‘I am a very mysterious artiste and what people don’t know is that NUTTY stands for Never Underestimate This Talented Youth. I have a lot of sides and most people have only seen the ragga and dancehall sides but I have a lot of surprising sides to me. I can do a lot of genres of music, but I will be revealing them with time. Otherwise, Body to Body is just a tip of the iceberg.
