There is fresh air in the music air and a new bright star shining. Irene Ntale is definitely a rising star having come to prominence in 2013 with the hit song ‘love letter’ featuring Gagamel boss Bebe Cool. Now Irene Ntale is the new star artist on the music scene. Previously mentored by Bebe Cool at Gagamel, and now signed to Swangz Avenue, Ntale is now going places. Immediately the video for love letter was released, the song and this young diva became an instant hit in the music and entertainment scene in Uganda
She has now followed those promising steps by releasing more hits that have been well received locally and regionally in East Africa. Her first studio single, ‘Nkubukinze’ clearly showed that the guitarist and songwriter has talent. The reason some of the very best in the industry have been all praises for her including the likes of Juliana Kanyomozi and Iryn Namubiru who have already noticed her talent and appreciated her music.
Her rise to stardom has not gone unnoticed by the fans and music fraternity as she has already scooped some awards and also received nominations in recent music award Ceremonies. These include an award for best breakthrough artist 2013 at the Hi-pipo music awards and also three awards she won at this year’s Buzz Teeniez Awards including Teeeniez best female artist Award. Her new hit song Gyobera is doing well on many count downs and in clubs.
Besides curtain raising in many concerts and receiving bookings for weddings and parties, she also recently got an endorsement to perform at Coca Cola Rated Next at the Grand Finale. Some of her songs include;
