Eddy Kenzo’s illustrious music journey career started a decade ago with the song “Yanimba” in which he featured Mikie Wine. However, his life turned magical after he released ‘Stamina’ in 2010 which introduced him to the rest of the country.
The turning point being captivating and highly addictive ‘Sitya Loss’ that did not only take the young singer from Masaka to the rest of the world, but he dragged the whole country with him after the video of the song went viral on the internet garnering millions of views along the way.
This marked the beginning of an incredible legacy that has been formed over ten years of undoubted creative output from Kenzo and done consistently too with numerous other hit songs like ‘Jubilation’, ‘Mbilo Mbilo’, ‘Nice & Lovely’, and ‘Pull Up’ among others.
It is therefore on that note that, Big Talent Entertainment the record label Kenzo himself formed this morning announced a special celebration to mark and celebrate the artiste’s 10 years in the music industry. This milestone will be celebrated in a VIP concert on 04th January 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
“As I celebrate 10 years of my musical career, my path has been filled with success but it has come with its bumps. But together, we have survived the storm and for this I am forever indebted. Come and be part of this milestone as we continue to make history together,” Eddy Kenzo said.
“It is gonna be lit and I promise to give the best. If I can put it in the language of the new generation”. He added.
While speaking on behalf of Airtel Uganda, Ms. Sumin Namaganda, the Public Relations Manager congratulated Eddy Kenzo on his success over the years.

Kenzo therefore is not only celebrating 10 years but a legacy he has built over the years that has seen him rise to the top and now seats comfortable among the crème de la crème of the continent as undeniably one of Uganda’s top artistes who continues to promote Uganda and East Africa at International level.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, Eddy Kenzo recently released a 20 track album “Roots” honoring his musical journey. The concert which is supported by Airtel and Coca Cola is organized by KT Promotions and tickets go for 3 million (table) 300,000/- for individuals who want to sit at VIP tables and 100,000/- for ordinary.
