Jamaican Reggae Star Tarrus Riley Arrives Ahead Of The Swangz All Star Concert

At a few minutes past 2 PM on Tuesday afternoon the 28th of August, it was a moment of excitement at Entebbe International Airport as renowned Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall singer Tarrus Riley real name Omar Riley arrived in Uganda for the much acclaimed ‘Swangz All Star Concert’ slated for Friday the 31st of August at Lugogo Cricket Oval

Tarrus together with celebrated Jamaican saxophonist Dean Fraser and the Black Soil Band (Tarrus’ band) were welcomed by a team from Swangz Avenue who are the main organisers of this upcoming concert

“Africa it is a pleasure to be here. Big time Rastafari”  was what Tarrus briefly said as him and his entourage walked to the parking space where they boarded cars to Kampala.

Clad in black sweat pants, black T-shirt and a pink hoodie, fans were more than excited to see him just like he was excited to see them too. Unlike other international artistes who possess a high level of ego, Tarrus was so down to earth as he posed with everyone who was interested in a selfie with him and at some point, he was heard asking people to come and take photos with him

Like we have been reporting, Tarrus was flown to Uganda by Swangz Avenue as the main headliner of the much acclaimed Swangz All Star Concert slated to take place on Friday and the fear of missing out is already on in the Reggae and Dancehall music lovers.

Early bird tickets are on sale at Ug Shs 25,000 and 85,000 for ordinary and VIP but at the gate on D-day, they will be selling 30,000 and 100,000 respectively
