Jamaican Singer Koffee Becomes Youngest Ever Reggae/Dancehall Artiste To Top Billboard Chart

Even if you aren’t a fun of Reggae and Dancehall music, you must have heard or watched a song titled ‘Toast’ by rising Jamaican ringer Koffee, playing on  your favourite radio or television.

We are comfortable to say that the Jamaican Reggae industry is currently experiencing a new wave, as the young talented artiste is continuing to prove that she has the work to put out. The 19-year-old graduate of Ardenne High School, is trending with hit songs which give you a jolt of energy to listen to

Koffee became the first ever young female reggae/dancehall artiste to top the Reggae Billboard chart with her new single ‘Rapture’ which sold 444 copies in the first week of its release thus earning her the top spot on the famous Billboard Chart.

“It’s really a blessing! Glad that everyone’s enjoying the music and I give thanks for the overwhelming support,” she said

On top of ‘Rapture’, Koffee’s other single ‘Toast’ is also doing well up on the charts and is poised for even greater things. ‘Toast’ has been one of the hottest Reggae and Dancehall songs on the airwaves for the past several months with over 23 million views on YouTube.

Koffe is now in the league of fellow Jamaican female artistes to top Billboard chart like Patra who was the first Reggae/Dancehall artiste to top the chart with her ‘Queen Of The Park’, ‘Diana King’ with ‘Think Like A Girl’ in 1997 and Etana in 2018 with ‘I Rise’
