Ugandan veteran musician Jose Chameleone will be performing in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe on Friday the 16th of July.
According to the information we gathered, the Leone Island boss, will be performing live with a band at a VIP show going to be held at Mingle Club which is one of the top clubs in the Lilongwe.
He confirmed this show on his official social media accounts this week.
“Hello my people from Malawi, Lilongwe. I will be performing Live at Mingle club on 16th-July-2021,” He posted on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
The VIP show will cost Malawi kwacha 100,000 which around Ug Shs 440, 000. This will be his second time to perform in Malawi where he last performed 2013 at Comesa Hall Blantyre, Lilongwe Mungo Park and Lilongwe Golf Club.
This is good for Chameleone, who has not performed in Uganda for almost a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic that left social events suspended to curb down the spread.
According to Malawi newspaper Nyasa Times, Chameleone’s music is liked in the Southern Africa country because of the message, style and Live performance in different African languages.
The newspaper further said that Malawians also like his styles of music namely Afro Beat style Ragga and Dancehall without forgetting his wowing stage performance
One of his social media fans from Malawi Mr. Divertson Ronnie Chadgona welcomed him saying they have taken long without seeing him perform in their country.
“Welcome to Malawi. Legend,” he commented on the e-flier announcing Chameleone show in Malawi that the singer shared on his Facebook account
