Close to five months after he was shown the exit door by Chameleone, Nkuke Robert Jackson Mutima has been excused by the artiste and will resume his work as his manager in the Leone Island team.
This was disclosed by the artiste himself last evening at NTV the Beat programme where he had made his second appearance ever where he was hosted by Douglas Lwanga.
“Nkuke has been excused and we have started working together again. I have forgiven him for all the wrong things he did and hope he has learnt his lesson. His contract has been renewed” Said the self-proclaimed music Dr.
Nkuke was fired over mismanagement of funds and failure to perform his duties as a manager because in most cases, it was the artiste himself who made the decisions and came up with ideas. It was also reported that Nkuke would book Chameleone for shows, take the cash and never informs his boss resulting to many police cases and bad blood with music promoters in the country.
Chameleone who has just returned from a tour in the USA was first managed by Jeff Kiwa before Sam Mukasa took over for some time. After his tenure that lasted for over five years, Robert Nkuke was handed the responsibility of foreseeing the artiste’s music career and mostly promotion and local bookings withing the country.
Chameleone himself promised to ‘kill’ his fans with good music which he says is in the pipeline.
