As i write this, I am remembering how some of roads heading to Kampala city were closed last year and the hussle i went through to find my way into the mix in search of news and anything interesting at City Square where thousands of people from far and near Kampala came to attend the annual Kampala Capital City Festival.
I personally enjoyed the festivities especially the headlining artistes who performed later on in the night and this year, the set up is even getting more advanced with lots of surprise acts expected to thrill the city dwellers and revellers. Aimed at celebrating culture, innovation, unity and social life, the fest will take place on Sunday the 2nd of October at its usual place (Kampala and Jinja roads).
Unlike the past festivals, the 2016 experience will present an unprecedented dimension in the history of the festival characterised by fresh additions like the Kampala City festival rally, cycling and a classic vintage show all packaged under the theme: Black-Yellow-Red. Make a date with East-Africa’s biggest street party this 2nd October 2016.
Bear in mind that, the event is free and come the 2nd of next month, all roads lead to Kampala for yet another dose of entertainment and funfare.
