Kansiime Anne is all geared up for her shows in Zambia later this month and there is no doubt about it, she will definitely leave some cracked ribs in the Country before she prepares for yet another massive show in Canada.
When it comes to comedy, Kansiime has really raised the Ugandan flag high in countries like Kenya, Bostwana, Zambia and Australia among others. She also commands a huge presence online with over 900,000 fans on Facebook with whom she shares her material with. People just can’t get enough of her and to highlight that, one proud fan once said that at the rate at which her career has skyrocketed, she deserves to have a street named after her, Kansiime Lane would have a good ring to it 🙂
The last time Kansiime was Zambia, she touched so many hearts that they even had a clinic named after her.
Before her show last year, the super talented comedian took some time off to engage in charity work within Ndola. She visited the Face of Africa Child foundation orphanage in Kantolomba where she made the little kids smile by cracking jokes while pretending to be a kid and after the visit, the orphanage named their clinic after her.
Her show was completely sold out and according to her manager Johnson Mujungu, her fans in Ndola came in full swing, making it Anne’s second sell out event in thousands, after Malawi in March 2014 where the event sold out with over 2000 in attendance.
Kansiime will have two shows in Zambia which are slated for 31st July and 1st August at the New Government complex in Lusaka and Mist Gardens in Kitwe respectively.
