Kanye West was admitted to an Australian hospital for an emergency Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on Wednesday, according to Woman’s Day magazine.
The Yeezus star was suffering a migraine when he was taken in to Epworth Hospital in Melbourne under high security.
A witness, Loraine Kelly, told the magazine she was with her daughter at the hospital who was undergoing an MRI scan, when West entered on a stretcher.
She said that Kanye had part of his face covered as he was wheeled in through the back entrance of the hospital and patients were asked to leave.
“Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses – we couldn’t leave as the MRI wasn’t finished,” Kelly further said.
“Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretched in surrounded by security. He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper everyday and we were shocked because it looked so serious, she concluded.”
However, a source told E! Online that Kanye only attended hospital as a precaution.
‘Kanye is fine and didn’t have a major health scare or seizure,’ a source told the network.
‘He just suffered a migraine and went to the hospital simply as a precaution.’
Kanye West, who is currently in Australia for his Yeezus tour, performed at the Rod Laver Arena that night after being released from hospital in the afternoon.
He surely has 9 lives because most musicians would have just called off the shows.
