Rapper Keko has been nominated in the Namibian Music awards despite reports that she is set to quit the local music industry.
She has been nominated in the song of the year category for her single titled Oshimaliwa (Money) on which she teamed up with Namibian singers Gazza and the crazy Lady May.
Keko announced the news via her social media account recently and said that the nomination could force her to stay in the music industry.
“News coming through from Namibia is our song…Money… nominated for song of the year! Shout out to Lady May & Gazza for letting me on it.” she wrote
Keko was the host of the 2014 Namibian Music Awards that happened in the coastal city of Swarkopmund.
News of her resignation from the music industry have upset many of his fans who think that the artist can still bounce back in the music scene if she concentrates on producing good songs.
