In a recent interview with Chano8, Rap star Keko opened up about her recently released Mutiima song featuring Charmant.
The rapper who is redefining the hip hop industry with her creativity said that she co-wrote the song with Charmant. ‘He wrote the chorus, I wrote the verses,’ Keko said.
With Ricky Lance working on the song’s instrumental and Jim Resley on the video, Mutima was bound to be a major success. Its blend of hip hop and zouk was so unique that it left many fans stunned with prowess displayed.
Keko who is undoubtedly the best female rapper in the Uganda, also talked about her co-star, saying he gave her a nostalgic feeling,
‘ I met him years ago at my God fathers Crystal Klear studios in Kololo, He was a great guitarist and I love guitars, he is Congolese and that’s the nostalgic sound I was looking for so we just hit it off easily.’
The rapper is currently working on a new song with Vampino which is expected to drop soon.
