Friday was an emotional day for Malaika Nnyanzi as she signed out of KFM after two years. She has been the co-host of D’mighty Breakfast alongside Brian Mulondo and the duo really worked their way to expectation.
The decision to leave KFM was made a couple of days back but since it was the last day she was speaking on KFM airwaves, she broke down and cried on air.
“Thank you to every single person that is listening, thank you to KFM family, the MPL family. I’m saying bye but I love you so much. This is not easy but God has his plans,” were some of Malayika’s last words.
We have however established reliable information that the former Urban TV presenter will be joining Capital FM and she is going to be hosting an evening drive show according to Joel Isabirye, a renowned media personality.
“Now that capital radio has snapped malaika nyanzi from kfm, it points to something I talked about in my post a few weeks ago, that the system, the ownership, the management, and the structure of capital radio always finds solutions to short term challenges and always rebounds to excellence. it is a station built to last…since 1994. but malaika who is likely to reinforce their evening drive (overdrive) show needs a dominant male to complete the picture along with jimmy who is also doing a good job…” Isabirye posted
