For a very longtime now, we have been hearing of the wrangles between artistes Khalifa Aganaga and Goodlyf’s Weasel but we didn’t know exactly where the problem stemmed from until last evening.
While being hosted on the Beat programme, Khalifa Aganaga said Weasel always attacks him because he’s scared of how fast he’s rising to the epitome.
“I’ve hustled my way to the top without any help. Weasel has been pushed by his big brother Chameleon but it hurts him so much to see that I’m achieving a lot in such a short time. I don’t have brothers in the music industry like he has. They’ve mentored, advised and financially supported him. That is the main reason he’s up there,” he said.
The “Oyitangayo” artiste went ahead and explained how the industry works these days. “Before, upcoming artistes used to cling on big artistes to get a name but lately, its big artistes who cling on us small artistes to stay relevant because we have what it takes to last long. That happened between Chameleon and King Saha and Bebe Cool with Ziza Bafana”.
This comes after Khalifa was beaten by Weasel a few weeks back while both artistes where at Amnesia during the Goodlyf night that happens every Tuesday.
