Late Musician AK 47’s Legacy To Be Remembered At A Special Tribute Party

The Ugandan music fraternity and the fans will never forget Monday the 16th of March 2015 when it was announced in the news that Dancehall and Ragga artiste AK 47 real Emmanuel Mayanja had passed on.

Although many people have never believed, it was reported that AK had simple argument with his then manager Jeff Kiwa under Team No Sleep umbrella.

It was said that that after the argument  which was sparked off by Jeff’s refusal to play his song ‘Ndimulokole’, which is Luganda for ‘I am born again’, He went to the washrooms where he was followed by a bouncer who is said to have allegedly thumped him and left him lying helpless on the floor

He was then rushed to Nsambya Hospital where he died hours later making the whole country mourn him

On 16th of March it will make four years since he passed on and for that matter , singer Jose Chameleone who is the late’s elder brother organised a tribute party in celebration of the ‘Ndi Mulokole’ singer  at DNA Lounge which a bar he launched recently.

Dubbed ‘A Tribute Night For AK 47’, this is going to be a Dancehall party that will take place on Thursday the 14th of March.

As commonly “The Good die young” – But for us who loved you still treasure you and know you are a live still living in within us” Read a statement on DNA Lounge’s social media platforms

It going to be a free entry event that will see Djs Ras Brown, King and Urban Star entertain the fans with live AK 47 music mixes as well as other Dancehall mixes the whole night l0ng
