Legendary RnB Singer Babyface Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree

Many people say he should change his name to something else because they think he is aged to still be call him self Babyface. Looking at him, one could think he is still in his early 30’s.

Anyway, Baby Face’s the looks’ is jazz should be for another day because what is in the news now, the American artiste was a recipient of the honorary doctorate degree On Monday at the Indiana University.

“I am proud and humbled to be this year’s recipient of Indian University Indiana University honorary doctorate degree,” Babyface said about this recognition.

He went ahead and thanked president Michael A. McRobbie (the university’s president)  and everyone at the university involved in making this day so special for him especially his family and friends.

According to Daryl Simmons, a song writer and Babyface’s best friend, he thinks Baby Face was the best option for this prestigious honor.

“For 47 years this guy and I have been joined at the hip. Since Middle school we’ve been Writing songs, traveling, visiting the White House, award shows, and even family functions. And many many other events that are too many to mention. But Most importantly we’ve been best friends for the entire time. Today was another special moment in our long list of great accomplishments as Kenny was presented an honorary doctorate Degree by Indiana University. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than my guy. He has been the same humble person I met 47 years ago. Congratulations to him on this prestigious honor. I am so honored to be a part of your wonderful journey,” said Simmons.
