In Wednesday’s Daily monitor and New Vision newspapers specifically page 33 and Page 37 respectively, there was a public notice that we couldn’t ignore. Both read that “This is to notify the general public that the person whose photograph appears beside is no longer a manager and/or agent of Leone Island Music Empire. Whoever deals with him on matters concerning Leone Island Music Empire does so at his/her risk. Management.”
The photograph that appeared belongs to a one Robert Jackson Nkuke alias Mutiima who has still been acting as Dr Jose Chameleon’s manager even after he was relieved of his duties a couple of months back.
Mutiima has been acting as the manager although in a statement released after his dismissal from the managerial position last year said that he was just a booking agent. Both Chameleon and Muttima were last seen over the weekend at Kenyatta airport in Kenya ahead of the Korogo festival and he was also the one who gave the Deejay Chameleon’s CD on the 31st during the UG Dance party event at Sheraton before the artiste performed.
Efforts to reach Mutiima for a comment about the newspaper notice have been futile as his phone is off but Chameleon had something to say regarding the issue. “Mutiima has been misusing the company’s funds. He has lost over 20million shillings without an explanation and we couldn’t just let it pass.” The wale wale artiste said.
Meanwhile, the Golf car that he was given last year has also been taken back until he explains the whereabouts of the money.
