Lilian Mbabazi Praises God For AFRIMA Nomination


Lilian Mbabazi is a soulful and sweet voiced singing diva who has been in the Ugandan music industry through the years. She made her way to fame in 2003 at the Coca Cola pop stars competitions which led to the formation of an all girl music crew Blu*3 that included her and other two girls namely Cindy and Jackie Chandiru. She is now a solo artiste following the disintegration of Blu*3 a few years back.

Being a solo artiste, Lilian has been able to keep relevant on the music map, releasing more hit songs in the past years, doing several projects and more collaborations for example ‘Am In Love’ with Radio and Weasel and her recent one ‘Memories’ with Dance-Hall star A Pass, which is doing pretty well. Lilian Mbabazi real names, is one of the best active divas in the East African region. She has won and been nominated in several music awards.

Talking about nomination, the ‘Simple Girl’ singer was nominated in one of the biggest music awards on the African Continent, AFRIMA. These awards will be held on Sunday the 15th of November in Lagos-Nigeria. “God I receive your blessings, I am forever grateful”. said Lilian in a social media message.

She is in the category of Best Female Artiste in Eastern Africa, with other artistes like Alsarah and The Nubatones, (Sudan), Helen Berhe (Ethiopia), Linah (Tanzania), Suzanna Owiyo (Kenya) and Tsedenia (Ethiopia).
