South African legendary PJ Powers is in the country for her highly anticipated ‘Jabulani charity concert’ slated for this Friday at Kampala Serena Hotel. Ahead of the show, ‘Girl up Uganda’ who are the organizers held a press conference at Serena Hotel gardens earlier today where the ‘Jabulani’ musician addressed journalists.
Among the questions the musician was asked was how she feels doing a song with the Ugandan duo. PJ Powers replied that working with Radio and Weasel was a privilege.
“When I listened to ‘Plenty plenty’ by Radio and Weasel, I was so excited. I knew that I had to do a song with them because they are compatible. It was a privilege making ‘Home to Africa’ with them.” PJ Powers said.
She also added that much as people think that the song is a remix of her original composition, she believes it is a new song because of what the duo added.
The ‘See You In Soweto’ musician further said that the song with Uganda’s duo is her best recently among the many she has done during her 33 years doing music
