Ever since the return of the popular Unplugged shows for season 2 at Liquid silk, all roads have been leading to the now ever-growing hangout Liquid Silk Naalya. After hosting some of the big name artistes like Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and more recently David Lutalo.
And last night was the self-styled RnB Kybazinga Maro’s turn as yet another episode of the Unplugged Season 2 went down at Liquid Silk Nalya. With the usual massive turn up, the mood was hyper as fans got ready for the much anticipated live show.
Kicking off his show close to midnight, the extremely talented Maro who sings in many genres delivered a great musical experience and his fans left the place very happy. The show started off with “Ninze” one of the tracks off his “Atwoki” album.
Maro who was backed up by his producer Zuli Tums, Maro did an amazing job entertaining the audience right from the first song.
After “Ninze” he continued to build up the temple, picking songs from his large collection. The audience was very receptive and sang along to tunes like “Nziranago”, “Kyoyenda Nkobe”, “Free Style”, “Atwoki”, “Mubbi Bubbi” and other tracks.
From Zouk to RnB and Afro-beat, the “Kyoyenda Nkobe” singer’s performance left the fans impressed and explains why he has a big following from across the country and why he is adored so much by the ardent fans.
As fans danced and sang along to the mellow voice of the “Atwooki” singer, cake was cut for Badru Ntege – one of the Liquid Silk Directors and the party was even more lit with revellers joining in the celebrations that continued till the wee hours of Thursday morning.
The next edition of the Unplugged season 2 returns next Wednesday 24th with Aziz Azion, another talented performer hitting the stage at the same venue Liquid Silk Naalya.
