Massive Excitement At Club Cyclone As Beenie Gunter Premiers Nishike Video

Friday night at the Kabalagala based night club Cyclone, also one of the best around town was at its best as the dance-hall artiste Beenie Gunter was premiering his freshest video in which he features dance-hall star Pallaso who is also young brother to Uganda’s top singer DR Jose Chameleone.

The two who had fallen in love with each other’s songs and style,decided to put the dance-hall heads together and came up with this song ‘Nishike’ a few months back as they planned to release the video.

At a few minutes to mid night, the revelers, men and women were seen at the entrance as the tight security at the club entrance searched them. Inside the club, Dj Shepherd was making those who got in excited with the very best of the fresh hits around Uganda, Africa and the rest of the world. It was a whole lot of fun and excitement with Club Cyclone also celebrating their one year’s anniversary.

At exactly 10 minutes past one, the MC of the night Sami opened the show with performances from some upcoming artistes including Tasha, Mega Burdens and Zeus Alpha. These warmed up the revelers as time for the main performances and Video premier got closer. At 1:55am, the main performer of the night Beenie Gunter accompanied by his crew the Guntalk City, took the stage in an energetic and dance-hall ‘swag’, he was free styling in Jamaican Patois, a thing that excited the revelers who could not help but join him on stage.

After performing majority of his songs, it was the time to unveil the long awaited ‘Nishike’ video. “Mi wah see everybody eye dem lock pon the TV screens” Beenie Gunter said, loosely translated as ‘I want to see every body’s eyes locked on the TV screens’. The mighty ‘Nishike’ video was officially premiered and indeed the revelers had their eyes locked on the screens to watch the video which was top notch and shot by Sasha Vybz. After the premier it was the after party that saw the crowd dance to the music rhythms till late.
