AK 47 born Emanuel Mayanja, was a fast rising Ragga and Dance-Hall singer who was loved by many especially the youth, he released hit songs like ‘Mbeela Yansi’, ‘Tukikolemu’ and ‘Ebaluwa’ which put him on the map as he got known in many corners of the country. He was also young brother to self pro claimed heavy weight and also Leon Island crew boss Dr Jose Chameleone.
However, on Monday the 16 0f March 2015, tragedy befell the country, the Mayanja family and his fans when it was announced in the news and other social media blogs that the young and ambitious dance-hall star had passed on while he had gone to Kansanga-based club Déjà Vu to relax with his colleagues.
Lots of tears were shade, condolence messages passed on due to this shocking and untimely death of AK 47. The cause of his death is not clear till date because of the confusing stories behind his death. The deceased was a family man and father of two. Up to now, some of his fans still mourn him because his death was really hurting. For that matter therefore, the Mayanja family and the management of Venom Beach Bar, are organizing a massive event to honour the fallen dance-hall star.
