At this rate we can only say that anything to do with Bobi Wine is surely a success. Otherwise what possible reason justifies what happened at the Bukoto based Rumours Club when his young brother Mikie Wine was having his first ever concert in many years?
We also don’t remember the last song Mikie Wine released before he went but since his brother Bobi aimed his guns at politics, it somehow benefited Mikie to the extent that he staged a sold out show which was last Saturday evening.
The self-proclaimed Sulubada High school Headmaster, came on stage at and started his performance with songs like ‘Tomanya’, ‘Emelina’, ‘Akaddanyuma’ and ‘Gulawo’ among others.
He also shared a stage with Eddy Kenzo with whom they have a song titled ‘Yanimba’and this drove the crowd wild. It is this song that brought out Kenzo who was at that time signed to Fire Base Crew.
Besides Kenzo, other artistes who supported him were his brother Bobi Wine, Lydia Jazmine, David Lutalo, and Fille among others.
This was really humbling to the musician who never expected the concert to be a success. “No amount of words can stand against the gratitude I feel for everyone who put a hand to make sure the day a success. Nothing is possible without GOD by my side,” he admitted.
