The recently concluded vetting process of the #MissUganda2016 at Club Guvnor saw 22 girls from the 4 regions of Uganda selected to tussle it out at the grand finale that is set for Saturday the 15th of October at Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Hall sponsored by Chano8 , BBS TV, Huawei Uganda, Galaxy Fm, Brovad Sands Lodge among others

Yesterday Miss Uganda Foundation and Kezzi Entertainment hosted journalists and some invited guests at an event held in Kampala Serena Hotel’s Victoria Gallery to unveil the top contestants for this year’s edition. One of the girls who failed to proceed because of unknown reasons did not show up reducing the final number to 21 and it’s the 21 who were unveiled to the keen eyes and cameras.

The girls showcased what they have in stock on the gray ran way in the order of Northern, Western, Eastern, Central and Buganda regions. The ladies who were clad in different coloured Swim suits nailed this with ease as the crowd, especially the guys cheered them on.

Shortly after, the stage was left for representatives from the sponsoring companies to give their remarks and among them was Joe Kigozi the C.E.O Buganda Broadcasting Services TV (BBS TV) who announced that, they will be telecasting what will be taking place in the Boot camp where the girls will stay till the grand finale.

This was followed by performances from song songstress Lydia Jazmine who performed her ‘Tukumbe’ and ‘Same Way’ songs. Her performance was followed by the official unveiling of the 21 girls one by one and this session was concluded by another round of music performances from Naava Grey.

The night was concluded by Brenda Nanyonjo alias Miss B the CEO Miss Uganda Foundation who thanked the different media houses and revellers for turning up and she also introduced the entire Kezzi Events team members who have ably helped her successfully run the famous Miss Uganda Pageant for now six years in a row.
