Miss Uganda Leah Kalanguka is turning on the head after recent ratings placed her among the top favorites to win the coveted Miss World Crown. The pageant’s grand finale is set for 14 December 2014 at ExCeL London in London.
I a recent rating done by FEMAIL and published in Daily Mail, Leah was placed among the top ten of the favorites to win the crown with a chance of 7/10.
She faces a stiff competition from other top contestants and favourites who are not only beautiful but brainy as well. They include South Sudan’s Awien Kuanyin-Agoth and Miss England Carina Tyrrell. Both Carina and Awien chances of winning stand at 10/10.
The 23-year- old graduate with a BA in Computer Engineering who was articulate, confident and demonstrated brilliance during the question and answer sessions at the grand finale in Munyonyo is once again at it. This time, exuding confidence like no other as she sends a clear message to fans as well as haters;
“You can make whatever you want to happen, happen. All you need is the ability to conceive the fact that you are already capable of an infinite number of possibilities.

Good morning my people” Leah’s message reads.
Her post has since received hundreds of positive replies in support of the young lady from Iganga whose win had earlier caused a lot of stir on social media with some sections of the public throwing jibes at her.
Kalanguka a former poultry and Mushroom farmer is studying further, with the ambitions of becoming a powerful influential computer engineer in Uganda, with plans of developing programs which can revolutionise the agricultural industry of Uganda.
She likes to sing and dance and her favourite sports are volleyball and swimming. She attended Nakasero Primary School, Nabbingo Girls’ School and will be graduating from Makerere University with a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering.
