There were mixed reactions as comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi reported for his first day at work this morning at Snayu FM. This was after management of the station decided to get rid of the entire staff following a sit-down strike.
Right from the time, news started filtering in that Fatboy was fired and then his confirmation to the comedian’s own announcement of starting work at the Kampala road-based FM station, internet as been a buzz with all sorts of stories and reactions.
Some ardent fans of the 45-year old presenter who had gotten used to listening to his deep, analytical presentation style in the mornings were not amused and openly expressed their disappointments with cries of “we shall miss you” with others accusing the management of the station for being unfair and warning they are making a big mistake.
They have since shown their support to the man who has been working there fro the past 21 years and even vowed to follow him where ever he goes.
Salvado however, reported to work with gusto and a wide smile as he kicked off his first day at work with his usual jokes. His fans were also quick to give in their support and assured him that “everything will be fine”.
