Muhammad Ali’s younger brother ‘Rahman’ has revealed that the legendary boxer can barely speak because he is so ill.
Muhammad Ali, who is currently dealing with the Parkinson’s disease, was too ill to go to Wednesday’s Hollywood premiere of I Am Ali, a film about his life.
His brother Rahman, has spoken of the struggles Ali has in talking after battling with the vicious Parkinson’s disease for around 30 years.
Rahman told The Sun: ‘I have not been able to talk to my brother about this because he is sick.
‘He doesn’t speak too well now but he’s proud we’re here for him. He’s given this his blessing.’
Muhammad’s daughter Maryum said: ‘He has not seen the film yet, but he is going to love it.
‘He will be very proud. He is a fighter.’
