Although it not an official public holiday in Uganda, 14th of February is worldly known as Valentine’s Day. It never leaves lovers seated as many go hanging out in different night spots where parties are held to celebrate the day. One of places where valentine’s stormed is Fame Lounge located along Acacia Avenue in Kololo.
The sound which was heard from the outside was evidence that there was an ongoing event which was none other than the Love In The City Party hosted by Capital FM’s Lucky Mbabazi and sponsored by Sms One, Capital FM and Chizo.

It was an evening of filled as love as revellers were seen marching in the venue where they posed for pictures at the entrance as live jazz music played the band, warmed them up. Revellers were seen in a real cool and party mood and the night’s performances had the main headliners Nava Grey and Charmant Mushaga who took to the stage at 10:43 PM amid lots of screaming from the crowd.

Naava Grey was just flawless
Clad in a red and black dress, Grey performed like ‘Ninga Omuloge’, ‘Aliba Omu’, ‘Soka Lami’ before going for a break leaving Keko on stage, She (Keko) did her performance alongside Charmant singing tunes like ‘Make You Dance’ and their collabo ‘Mutima’. Naava later took the stage again where we saw Mun G joining her and together they performed ‘Champion’ and ‘Sejjusa’ songs as the fans cheered them on.

On the other hand, before the above, there were other performances from artistes like Doris Nyango, Kenneth Mugabi who like usual, wowed the crowd performing his ‘Naaki’ track. All in all the lovers had a blast and we are not wrong to say that the Love In The City party was an amazing experience that was mixed saw revellers mix, mingle and on top of it, they got entertained despite the sound glitches and power black outs.
