Singer Naira Ali says she has settled a family dispute concerning the gospel song she released last year.
The gospel song titled “Sinze” had brought conflict between her and her staunch Moslem family who even threatened to denounce her from the family if she went a head to perform it.
According to Naira Ali, the gospel song was not intended to undermine her religion but rather for business purposes.
Speaking on Delta TV programme ‘Mega Doz’ presented by Katongole Omutongole, Naira Ali said the dispute is now over.
“They summoned me at home and I explained the content of the song. They later discovered that my lyrics had no problem,” she said.
She said that she is planning to release songs which she will be launching in 2016.
“My concert at Africana was a success. The turn up show me that am a good artist, let me hope that people will continue supporting me,” she added.
On her love life, the artist said that she is committed to her Muslim boyfriend who is also the father of her baby girl.
