Nankuusi Patricia Battles Two Male Candidates For UMCAT’s Top Office

Tension, Excitement and restlessness has rocked the Bukesa-based UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass Communication ahead of  Wednesday’s guild elections reports Chano8’s Guma Maureen.

According to the electoral commission chairperson Ms. Charity Nayebare, three people are contesting for the topmost student’s office. These include Mr. Bigira Abraham, Mr. Joel Mr. Clinton Sserwaniko and the only female contestant Ms. Nankuusi Patricia.

Elections will be held tomorrow 18th July 2018 at the main campus and according to the mood in the institution, several people are working tirelessly to have their mandate sold in the 90th minute.

Ms Nankuusi Patricia is ready for the final battle for the top post at UMCAT.

Among other positions to be voted on the same day is that of the Vice Guild President, Guild Speaker and the General Secretary.

Vice Guild President: 1. Karungi Livia Edith 2. Kizito Vicent

Speaker: 1. Nsereko Anania 2. Male Brian Brandon.
