Natasha Museveni Finally Premieres Her ‘27 Guns’ Movie

For months, the Movie ‘27 Guns’ has been in the making and movie lovers and well wishers have been waiting for its premiere which successfully went down on Saturday night the 8th of September at Metropole Cinema, Naalya

 The glamorous red carpet event boasted of the president’s attendance HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the first lady Janet Kataha Museveni who are parents to Natasha Kurugire the writer and director of this  long awaited movie

‘27 Guns’ is a biopic based on true events of Uganda’s liberation struggle. It tells the story of a young man and his unlikely group of young idealists who leave all to fight for salvation of a nation. They set off with little more than discipline and courage, buoyed by the indomitable spirit of an oppressed people and launched a protracted guerrilla war.

The movie premiere event that was hosted by MCs Malaika Nnyanzi and Uncle Mitch Egwang was attended by other dignitaries like former Minister of Health Jim Muhwezi, Minister of security Gen Elly Tumwine, Andrew Mwenda and artistes Cindy and Bebe Cool among others from the first family

Based on a true story and themed “A Generation That Moved The Nation”, ‘27 Guns’ is an Isaiah 60 production. As we wait for it hit cinemas, here are the photos of hoe the premiere went down
