The ‘Nawuliranga’ Rapper has been very busy this year releasing hit singles and doing tours all over the world. He has done many collabos and his latest Album ‘Pride’ has been well received all over the world with many Album sales and downloads from iTunes. And now is the time to give back to the fans.
The Multi-Award winning hip-hop star Navio confirmed today at a press conference in Sky lounge Kisementi that, his ‘Day time Rap show’ is on 23rd August 2014 and will definitely be something new, exciting and different for his fans.
“This is going to be a first of its kind concert and mainly due to public demand from parents and the younger fans, we have decided to take care of all a fans and do something fun and entertaining. We would also love to tap into the youth age group and bring the younger generation on board so that we can grow together. Navio said.
The gates to the show will open at 10:00AM in the morning and the show officially kicks off at 12:00PM. There will be a number of artists to curtain raise before the main acts take to the stage. This will include a showcasing of talent by students that have been scouted from Schools across the country in which they will compete for a slot to do professional recording with Navio. The winners also stand a chance to be professionally groomed into performing artists if ‘their parents agree to it’ in his company Navcorp
A number of top notch local artists have also been lined up to accompany Navio on the big day. And according to the rapper all of them have confirmed they will participate. They include Dr. Jose Chameleone, Gagmel boss Bebe Cool, Ghetto president Bobi Wine, Team No Sleep member Sheebah Karungi, Irene Ntale, Peter Miles, The Mith, Cindy, Vampino, Keko, Aganaga, Coco Finger, Young Mulo, Enygma and Ruyonga.
There were a lot of encouraging words and support from the sponsors and organisers of the show who all echoed their support to Navio and commitment to improve local talent especially in the music industry.
