Much as NBS TV keeps shopping presenters from other Television stations, they also lost one of their best Remmy Bahati to a bigger station a few days back.
The NBS reporter according to the information we received has joined a Virginia-based American Media company called Arlington Independent Media as a Reporter, Anchor and Producer of Arlington Weekly News.
The reporter will start work at the U.S based station any time from now and this will mark the end to her Ugandan media journey which has spurned over five years. She could not hide her excitement and shared the news on Twitter with her followers
“Breaking into the American Media as a Reporter, Anchor and Producer. Thanks to everyone who watched tonight. We are Channel 69 on Comcast and Channel 38 on Verizon FIOS”. She posted.
Remmy Bahati is famously remembered for violently being arrested in 2016 outside Dr Kizza Besigye’s home in Kasangati in March.
Bahati Remmy is a journalist based in Kampala, Uganda. A dedicated reporter with a nose for the breaking story and ear for the untapped. A devotee to human rights, politics, community journalism and a reputation for impeccable ethics.
