Music has finally started paying off for musician John Kasadha alias John Blaq after securing a multi-million deal with one of the biggest beverage company in Uganda and the world over.
The latest we have on our news desk is that John Blaq signed a mega deal with Nakawa-based beverage company Pepsi
A source at Pepsi said that the singer’s rising popularity and recent wins at the recent Galaxy FM Zzina Awards drew the company to him
“Some scouts flew in from the UK for the awards to meet him, the deal was discussed and connected. That’s all I can tell you.” The source told Chano8
The ‘Tukwatagane’ musician and his management are still tight-lipped about the details of the deal but say that he is very excited and cannot wait to start.
John Blaq scooped three awards including; ‘Best Dancehall Song’ for his hit single ‘Tukwatagane’, ‘Best Dancehall Artiste’, and ‘Best Breakthrough Artiste’ at the recent Zzina Awards
Pepsi is well-known for its long-standing relationship with famous global music and football icons like;Beyonce, Konshens, Messi and Mohamed Salah, Messi and supporting popular African musicians like Davido who connect with its youthful target market.
With barely 2 years on the music scene, the singer who was once told he couldn’t sing because of his deep voice has proved to many that he poses exceptional talent which has propelled him to stardom in his music career.
