A new Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) called Developing A New Africa (DANA) recently started its operations in Uganda. This organization which aims at promoting good sanitation, tree planting, farming, environmental conservation through sensitizing and educating primary school-going Ugandan children on how to conserve and keep their environments clean.

This has led to the birth of a new Ugandan all star song titled ‘Keep On Going’ which was officially premiered last Friday at Cayenne Restaurant and Lounge in a press conference organized by the DANA team and Flames events. The song boasts of a huge talent line-up which includes Coco Finger, Producer Washington, Levixone Lala, Chris Evans, Jay I, Rema, Ragga Dee and Lyto Boss.

Developing A New Africa foundation Team led by Dana Simovic, the founder of the foundation visited a total of 6 different schools around Kampala where they have several projects on health and environment and have started DANA clubs in each of the schools that are delivering considerable changes in the school and community environment.

Simovic who hails from Sweden said “I got inspired to start DANA when a woman I was sitting next to in the bus on my way to Soroti threw an empty bottle out of the bus window. This inspired me to want to change Uganda back to what it was before, The Pearl Of Africa.”
